“No results found” and other Help Center problems

Web and appUpdated on

This happens when the MyFitnessClient Help Center search finds nothing, or when copying, the shortcut or a tutorial fails. Here are the causes and the fix.

This article covers the Help Center on the website and in the app. What it says about the app applies to the latest version of the app. To learn how to look for an answer, see Find an answer in the Help Center.

“No results found”

The search looks in the titles and text of the published articles, videos and frequently asked questions, in the language the help is open in. On the website, it only searches the chosen audience, Professionals or Clients, and what is for everyone. In the app, it only searches what the app shows.

What you seeCauseWhat to do
“No results found” on the Search Results page or in the appNo content has the words you typed. The search doesn't correct typos.Type one or two words that appear on the screen, such as the name of a button or a menu. The start of the word is enough: “clie” finds “client”.
The article exists, but doesn't appear in the website resultsThe article is for the other audience.Switch to Professionals or Clients and search again.
You searched in another languageThe search only reads the text the help shows in the chosen language.Type in the language of the page, or change the language of the website or the app.
With a single letter, no results appearThe search only starts at 2 letters and ignores one-letter words.Type at least 2 letters.
“No results found” in the website's search window, after you typeThe search failed: you have no internet connection, the server didn't respond, or there were more than 60 searches in one minute from your network. In the window, a search that works and finds nothing only shows the See all results line.Wait a minute and type again. In the window, each pause while you type counts as one search.
“Failed to load” card on the Search Results pageThe search failed. The line under the card's title gives the reason. The “No results found” that appears with the card doesn't mean there are no results.Select Retry.
In the app, “Couldn't load.”, or a sentence with the reason, and the Retry buttonThe search or the page didn't arrive from the server.Select Retry.

To find the article when the search doesn't show it:

  1. In the search field, type one or two words that appear on the screen, such as the name of a button or a menu.
  2. On the website, at the top of the sidebar, select Professionals or Clients, depending on who the article is for.
  3. If there are still no results, open the category for the topic and look for the article in the list.

If the article exists, it appears in the results or in the category list.

How the search picks the results

  • Accents and capital letters don't count: “NUTRITION” finds “nutrition”.
  • A word can be inside another one: “clie” finds “client”.
  • The results have all the words you typed. If no content has all of them, the search tries again with any one of the words, not counting words such as “the”, “how” or “to”, and shows first what has the most words.
  • “diet” also finds “meal plan”, and “anamnesis” also finds “health questionnaire”.
  • A word in the title counts more than in the text.
  • Only the first 100 characters and the first 6 different words with 2 or more letters count.
  • At most 15 articles, 10 videos and 10 frequently asked questions appear.

Other problems

What you seeCauseWhat to do
I only see articles for professionals, or only for clientsOn the website, the Help Center shows one audience at a time, and the choice is saved in this browser. Links from the client area open on Clients, and a category for one audience only, or an article in that category, opens with that audience's sidebar.At the top of the sidebar, or on the home page under the search box, select Professionals or Clients. On screens less than 1024 px wide, the sidebar opens from the Help Center button at the top of the page.
Ctrl+K or ⌘+K doesn't open the searchThe shortcut only exists on the website's Help Center pages and doesn't work with the cursor in a text field. The app has no shortcut.Move the cursor out of the text field and press the keys again, or select the search field at the top of the sidebar.
On the website, after Copy page > Copy as Markdown, the button doesn't show Copied. In the app, “Could not copy.” appearsThe browser or the phone refused the copy. On the website there's no warning.On the website, allow access to the clipboard and try again. You can also select the article's text and copy it by hand.
On the website, Open in ChatGPT or Open in Claude doesn't open anythingThe browser blocked the new window.Allow new windows for this site and select the option again. If the service asks you to sign in to its account, sign in and select the option in the article again.
ChatGPT or Claude says it can't read the articleThese options only send the article's address, with the request to read it, not the text.Select Copy as Markdown and paste the text into the conversation.
The interactive tutorial card, with View in the app on the website or Open interactive tutorial in the app, doesn't appearThe card only appears when the article, or its category, has a tutorial. On the website, the marketplace tutorials stay hidden while the marketplace is turned off. In the app, the card only appears when the tutorial exists in the app.Follow the steps in the article, or look for the tutorial in the list of tutorials.
The tutorial doesn't start after View in the appIn articles for professionals and for everyone, View in the app opens the professional dashboard in the same tab; in articles for clients, it opens the client area. If you aren't signed in, it first asks you to sign in and then returns to the same address. The dashboard only opens with a professional account and the client area only with a client account: with the other account, you go to your home page, without the tutorial. Some professional tutorials ask “Create example data?” before they start and only start if you accept. The tutorial starts only once: refreshing the page doesn't repeat it.Sign in to the professional or client account, depending on the article, and accept creating the example data if the tutorial asks. To repeat the tutorial, open it from the list of tutorials.
I don't see the On this page table of contentsThe table of contents only appears on the website, on screens 1280 px wide or more, and in articles with 2 or more headings.Make the window wider, or move through the article by its headings.
“We couldn't find this page”The address doesn't belong to any published article or category: the link is wrong or the content was removed from the help. An article that changed address opens at the new address on its own.Search on that page, choose one of the topics or select Go to the help center home.
“Page not found” on every page of the website's Help CenterThe MyFitnessClient team turned off the Help Center.Come back later. If you're a professional, Support, in Settings, is still available.
In the app, “Content not found.” when you open an articleThe article is no longer published or isn't available in the app.Go back to the Help Centre and search for the topic.

To open or repeat a tutorial from the list, see Follow an interactive tutorial or replay the guided tour.

If this did not solve it

Write to the MyFitnessClient team through the contact on the “Didn't find what you're looking for?” card, at the end of the Help Center home page. In the app, the same card, at the end of the Help Centre, shows the client the email for problems with the app; questions about the plan go to the professional, in the chat. If you're a professional, you can also create a request in Support, in Settings. Send:

  • the address of the page, or the title of the article in the app;
  • the language of the page and, on the website, the chosen audience;
  • the words you typed in the search;
  • the exact message you see and, on the website, the “Reference” code on the error card, when it appears;
  • on the website, the browser you use; in the app, the phone model.
