Settings is your account's page in the dashboard: profile and security, your brand, your public profile, your subscription, integrations, preferences and help. Each option applies to your account, except My brand and My app, which belong to the owner of the workspace you're working in. The tables follow the order on screen.
Open Settings
- On a computer, select your photo and your name at the bottom of the side menu, then Settings. Settings opens on Profile. The same menu also has Theme, Language and Status.
- On a phone, or in a window less than 1024 px wide, open the menu with the button in the top-left corner and select Settings at the bottom of the menu. Settings opens on the list of options.
What each item in the side menu opens is in Dashboard side menu: what each item opens.
Groups and options
The menu has four groups. Under the name of each option you see the description shown in the table. On a phone, the YOUR BUSINESS group is called BUSINESS and the OTHERS group is called SUPPORT.
| Group | Option | Description in the menu | What you'll find |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACCOUNT | Profile | Name, email and security | Your photo, name, email and password; two-factor authentication, sessions with access and your Google account; on a computer, Hide money values; at the end, Close the account. |
| YOUR BUSINESS | Marketplace | Your public marketplace profile | Your profile in the public directory of professionals, to edit and publish. |
| YOUR BUSINESS | My brand | Name, logo and color | The name, logo, colors, background image and icon your clients see in the app. |
| YOUR BUSINESS | My app | Your app on the App Store and Google Play | The request for your own app on the App Store and Google Play. |

| PREFERENCES | Language | App language | The account language, one of six. On a phone, the row shows the flag of the current language. |
| PREFERENCES | Appearance | Light or dark theme | The theme: Light, Dark or System. |
| PREFERENCES | Notifications | Push, email and reminders | The Email and Push channels, the notification types, Today's summary and the emails with MyFitnessClient tips and news. |
| PREFERENCES | Install the App | Add the app to your device | The steps to install the dashboard as an app, on a phone or a computer. |
| OTHERS | Tutorials and guided tour | Replay the guided tour and tutorials | The guided tour and the tutorials, by chapter, to go through again. |
| OTHERS | Help Center | Articles, videos and FAQs | These articles, on a page of their own, outside Settings. |
| OTHERS | Support | Help and contact | Your requests to support, the conversation for each one and creating a new request. |
At the end of the menu is Log Out. With unsaved changes in My brand or Marketplace, switching options or logging out first opens the “Save before leaving?” window, with Discard and Save and leave.
Options that only appear under certain conditions
Profile, Subscription, Integrations, Language, Appearance, Notifications, Tutorials and guided tour and Support are always in the menu. The ones in the table appear or change as follows.
| Option | When it appears |
|---|---|
| Marketplace | While Marketplace is turned on in MyFitnessClient. |
| My brand | Always. In another professional's workspace, it shows the notice “Branding belongs to the workspace owner” instead of the editor, because only the owner changes the brand. |
| My app | Only for accounts that MyFitnessClient has invited and those that already have My app, and only in your own workspace. |
| Install the App | Only when you use the dashboard in a browser. In the installed app, it does not appear. |
| Help Center | While the Help Center is turned on in MyFitnessClient. It opens these articles on a page of their own, outside Settings, which is why it has a diagonal arrow. |
A red number may appear next to Support. It counts your requests with the status “Support has replied”, which are waiting for your reply, and it updates on its own, without reloading the page.
Address of each option
When you open an option, the browser address gets ?tab= and the option's value, for example /en/dashboard/settings?tab=notifications. You can save that address in your browser bookmarks. On a phone, the address opens the option straight away.
| Value | Option |
|---|---|
| profile | Profile |
| marketplace | Marketplace |
| branding | My brand |
| whiteLabelApp | My app |
| subscription | Subscription |
| integrations | Integrations |
| language | Language |
| appearance | Appearance |
| notifications | Notifications |
| install | Install the App |
| tutorials | Tutorials and guided tour |
| support | Support |
Without ?tab=, with a value that does not exist, or with the value of an option that does not appear in your menu, a computer opens Profile and a phone shows the list of options. Without access to My app, ?tab=whiteLabelApp opens Subscription. The address /en/dashboard/subscription also opens Subscription.
On a computer and on a phone
From 1024 px wide, Settings uses the computer layout; with less width, the phone layout.
| What | On a computer | On a phone |
|---|---|---|

| Address without ?tab= | Opens Profile. | Shows the list of options. |

| Status | In your photo's menu, at the bottom of the side menu. | In a card at the top of the list. |
