Plans and prices: limits, features and where to compare them

For professionalsWebUpdated on

Compare MyFitnessClient plans on the Pricing page or in Subscription and understand each line: price, active clients, team, storage and features.

Each MyFitnessClient plan has a price, three limits (active clients, team members and storage) and a set of features. MyFitnessClient can change these values, so this page doesn't repeat them: it tells you where you see them and what each line of the comparison means. The numbers that count are the ones the comparison shows at the time.

This page covers the plan you pay MyFitnessClient for. The monthly plans and packs you sell to your clients are in Payments, on the Plans tab: see Create recurring plans and packs for clients.

Where you compare the plans

The public plans are the same in both places:

Settings > Subscription > Change PlanYou, when signed inOne card per plan, with the button to switch to that plan. Your plan, on the billing period you pay, is marked “Current Plan”. On screens wider than a phone, there is also the “Included features” table, with the plans side by side.

Both places have the Monthly and Yearly buttons, which change the prices shown. On the paid plan cards, the list starts with “Everything in” and the name of the previous plan, and shows only what that plan adds. In Change Plan, what a plan doesn't include may appear struck through on the card.

What each line means

The cards and the tables use these lines:

LineWhat it means
PriceThe amount per month. In Yearly, the large amount is the monthly equivalent; under it you see the yearly total, “billed yearly” (on the Pricing page, “billed annually”), and how much you save per year compared with 12 monthly payments. The Yearly button shows the saving as a percentage.
Active clientsHow many clients you can have at the same time. Active and scheduled clients count, as does anyone paying for a package to join; the Test Student doesn't count. With no limit, the card says “Unlimited clients” (on the Pricing page, “Unlimited active clients”) and the table shows ∞.
Team membersHow many colleagues you can have in your team, besides you. “No team”, or a dash in the table, means the plan doesn't allow a team.
StorageThe space for the files you upload, such as those in Materials. “No storage” (on the Pricing page, “No file storage”), or a dash in the table, means the plan has no space for files.
Free trial daysThe free trial period of the first subscription to a paid plan. In Change Plan, the label with the free trial days only appears if your account has never had a paid plan; a granted plan or a trial period already counts. On the Pricing page, the days are on the plan's button.

Each limit has its own rules: see Client limit and occupied slots on your plan, Team seats: the member limit on each plan and how to free up space when storage runs out. To see how much of each limit you already use, see View your plan, what it includes and how much you use.

Features of each plan

Each plan either includes or doesn't include each of these features. The name differs between Change Plan and the Pricing page:

The “Included features” table in Change Plan doesn't have the Online payments, Supplementation plans and Personal area rows: you see those features on the plan cards. Audio messages only appear on the Pricing page. The marketplace listing isn't part of the comparison, because your public profile can appear in the directory on any plan.

When you open a page your plan doesn't include, you see an introduction to that feature and the cheapest plan that has it: see Feature locked by your plan: what it means. To change plan, see Upgrade your plan and pay for your subscription.

Plans outside the comparison

  • Gyms and teams: the Pricing page has an “On request”, “Tailored” column, with the setup, the limits and the terms agreed with you. To ask for a proposal, select Book a meeting in that column. Change Plan has no card for it.
  • Custom plan: MyFitnessClient can create a plan just for you. You get the “Custom plan available” notice and the plan appears in Change Plan, on the last card, with the “Tailored for you” label. Nobody else sees it, and it doesn't appear on the Pricing page.
  • Granted plan: MyFitnessClient can give you a plan without payment. Your plan's card shows the “Granted” status and, if the plan has an end date, “Ends on” and the date.
  • Gym plans: they don't appear in either comparison.

The Pricing page

  • The address changes with the language: /pt/precos, /pt-br/precos, /en/pricing, /es/precios, /fr/tarifs and /de/preise, always on myfitnessclient.com. The English version is at myfitnessclient.com/en/pricing.
  • The column buttons lead to creating a professional account: “Create free account” on the no-cost plan; on a paid plan with a trial period, “Start your” followed by the free trial days; “Get started” on a paid plan without a trial. After you create the account, Change Plan opens, with Monthly or Yearly as it was on the page, and that's where you choose the plan. If you're already signed in as a professional, the button takes you straight to Change Plan.
  • When a price or a limit changes, the Pricing page can take up to about an hour to show it. Change Plan reads the plans every time you open Subscription.
  • If the prices don't load, the page shows “Live pricing could not be loaded. Try again before choosing a plan.” and only the “On request” column. Reload the page later.

Frequently asked questions

Does the Free plan have a time limit?

No. On the Pricing page, its price comes with “forever”, and an account without a paid plan stays on Free with no time limit. When a paid plan ends, the account goes back to Free: see Cancel your subscription and understand what happens next.

Who pays for the plan when I work in a team?

The team owner. In the team, the owner's plan is the one that counts, and colleagues don't need a paid plan to join.

Is “Free” the same plan everywhere?

Yes. The plan cards and your plan's card call it Free; the notice at the top of the dashboard, the notifications and the emails say “Free plan”.

Is “App with your branding” an app of my own in the stores?

No. “App with your branding”, which Change Plan calls “Custom branding”, is the name, logo and color you set in Settings > My brand. An app of your own, on the App Store and Google Play, is the My app add-on: it isn't part of any plan and doesn't appear in the comparison, it's purchased separately, on top of a paid plan, and it isn't available to every account yet.
