Access is the period during which coaching with your professional is open. Your professional sets the dates, and the status that results from them is the same on the web and in the app. With access closed, the app still opens: Home tells you which status you are in and the conversation with your professional continues.
The statuses
While access is closed, Home shows a card with the status instead of the day's cards.
| Status | When it happens | What the Home card says |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Coaching is under way. | There is no status card: you see the day's cards. |
| Scheduled | Your professional set a start date that has not arrived yet. | “Coaching scheduled” and “Access starts on {date}.” |
| Ended | The access end date has passed. | “Coaching ended” and “Access ended on {date}.” When the access came from a package, “Your {name} package ended on {date}.” |
| Inactive | Your professional deactivated your coaching. It stays this way even if the end date has already passed or the start date has not arrived yet. | “Coaching inactive” and “You don't have access to the coaching at the moment.” |
On the web, in the ended and inactive statuses, the card adds “You can still talk to your professional.” In the app, while you have an invitation waiting for your reply, Home shows the invitation and not this card.
After you end coaching or disconnect, there is no access status anymore: Home treats you as someone who does not have a professional yet. See “You don't have a professional yet”: what to do.
Before access ends
With access active, Home shows under the greeting how long your access lasts, when there is an end date or a monthly payment that renews. Whichever end comes first counts: the end of your access or the end of your plan, when the plan ends on a different day.
- More than 7 days left: the phrase of the day stays and, under it, a small line says “Your coaching runs until {date}, {n} days left” or “Your plan {name} runs until {date}, {n} days left”. With no end date and a monthly payment that renews, the line says “Your plan {name} renews on {date}”.
- 7 days or fewer left: two lines take the place of the phrase of the day. The first, in amber, says “Your coaching ends today”, “tomorrow” or “in {n} days” (for the plan, “Your plan {name} ends” followed by the same time frame). The second says “To keep going, talk to your professional.” (for the plan, “To renew it, talk to your professional.”), preceded by “Until {date}.” when 2 or more days are left.
- When the end of your access is the deadline to pay for a plan, the line says how many days you have to pay for it, however far away the end is. See Payment overdue: what is paused and how to settle it.
Your access dates are also in Settings, in the Access period row: on the web, under Profile; in the app, on the main Settings screen. With access active and an end date, the row also shows how many days are left; when an up-to-date monthly payment renews the access, it says “Renews on {date}”.
What you see on the other pages
With access closed, pages open without what your professional assigned to you. So that they do not say you have nothing yet, they show a line with the status instead of the empty list notice, with these phrases.
- Scheduled: “Available from {date}.”
- Ended: “Coaching ended on {date}.” on the web and “No access at the moment.” in the app.
- Inactive: “No access at the moment.”
On the web, in the ended and inactive statuses, the line has the View link, which opens Home, where the full card is.
The line appears in Workouts, Nutrition, Supplements, Habits, Questionnaires, Courses and Materials when the list is empty; in Nutrition, only on a day with no plan and no logged meals. In Calendar and Progress, it always stays at the top of the page. On the web, it also appears when a questionnaire you opened to answer does not load.
What stays open
- The menu and the pages still open.
- The conversation with your professional continues in the chat: you can write to them, but you cannot send files or voice notes, and calls are not available. The conversation closes when you end coaching or disconnect, and also if your professional removes you from their clients.
- In Calendar, your personal events stay. Events your professional schedules and the workouts from their program stop appearing while access is closed.
What you can do
- Message your professional: on the Home card, in the ended and inactive statuses. It opens the chat. Your professional is the one who changes your access dates or reactivates you.
- Disconnect from professional (in the app, Disconnect): at the bottom of the Home card, in all three statuses. In the ended and inactive statuses, it is also in Settings, as Disconnect from your professional: on the web, under Profile; in the app, in the Account group. You are no longer linked to this professional and the conversation closes.
- End coaching: in Settings, while coaching is active or scheduled.
After you disconnect or end coaching, you are no longer linked to this professional; to come back, they can invite you again. Both paths and what happens in each one are in End coaching or disconnect from your professional.
Common problems
A page says “No access at the moment.” instead of my content
Access is closed. Open Home to see the status and the dates. If you think access should be open, talk to your professional in the chat.
The sessions my professional scheduled disappeared from Calendar
With access closed, Calendar stops showing your professional's events. The ones that are still scheduled appear again when access opens.
I see “Coaching inactive” but I didn't do anything
Your professional deactivated your coaching, and only they can reactivate it. Select Message your professional on the Home card to ask them.
On the start day it still says “Coaching scheduled”
Access opens on the start day itself, shortly after midnight in your professional's time zone. Until then, the card still says that coaching is scheduled. Go back to Home later.
Questions
Can I talk to my professional after access ends?
Yes. The chat conversation stays open until you end coaching or disconnect, unless your professional removes you from their clients.
How do I get access again?
Talk to your professional. They set your access dates and they can reactivate you.
