Overview

A workout is a list of exercises with sets, reps, and rest. You build a workout once, in Workouts, and reuse it with as many clients as you want — it's the foundation of all your programming on the platform.

Steps to create a workout

  1. Open Workouts and click Create workout.
  2. Give the workout a name.
  3. Click Add exercise and search the exercise library.
  4. For each exercise, set the sets, reps (a single value or a min–max range), the weight, and the rest (in seconds).
  5. For each set, choose its type: Normal, Warm-up, Feeder set, To failure, Drop set, Back-off set, or Cluster set. For a cluster, set its mini-blocks and the short rest between them.
  6. If you need to, add RPE, tempo (e.g. 3-0-1-0), and notes.
  7. Save. The workout is now available to assign.
In each exercise's menu, use Create Superset or Create Circuit to group exercises. With Section you split the workout into parts, such as the warm-up, and Save as section lets you reuse a part in other workouts.

Good to know

  • You prescribe the set types in the workout. During execution, the app keeps that structure — including Cluster set blocks — so the client can log the values and completion.
  • The workouts you create are private: they're only available to the clients you assign them to.

Next steps

With the workout ready, you can assign it to a client or add it to a multi-week program. To explore the workouts area in context, use the tutorial button at the top of this page.
