Overview
The Requests tab inside Clients receives requests from people with an app account who want to be your clients: for example, someone who joined through one of your invitation links or QR codes and, if you have a public profile in the marketplace, someone who found you there. The Source column shows where each request came from.
Respond to a request
- Open Clients and select the Requests tab.
- To read or reply to the person's messages, use Open chat (the speech bubble icon) on the request's row.
- Choose Reject and confirm to decline, or Accept to make them your client: in the Accept request window you can set the Access period and you confirm with Accept. Accepting needs a free spot in your plan.
A request from the invitation of a client without an account
If someone uses the link or QR code of the invitation for a client you created without an account, the Source column shows Invitation for and that client's name. When the name or email of the person asking doesn't match the record, you also see Different name and email, Different name, or Different email.
When you choose Accept, the window shows who is asking and whose invitation it was, and you confirm with Link to record. The account of the person asking gets everything in the client's record (workouts, plans, assessments, photos, and messages), with the access period the record already had. It doesn't use a new spot in your plan, and it can't be undone.
After you accept
When you accept, the client appears in your list and you can start assigning workouts, meal plans, and assessments. To receive more requests, make sure your profile is complete: see Appear in the marketplace.
