Create a questionnaire

Overview

In Questionnaires you create the questions you want to ask your clients: weekly feedback, check-ins, sign-ups, whatever you need.

Steps

  1. Open Questionnaires, click Create questionnaire, and choose the type: Manual, Automatic, or Check-in.
  2. Write the Title and, if you like, a Description, which the client sees.
  3. With Add question, choose the answer type and write the question. Turn on Required when an answer is needed. On a Single choice or Multiple choice question, you can also turn on Option "Other".
  4. To show a question only after a certain answer, click Only show if… on that question and pick the earlier question and the answer.
  5. Try it in Preview. There is no need to save: the editor saves on its own and shows Saved. The questionnaire stays a Draft until you click Publish and confirm. Only then does it become Active.

Question types

There are 13 types: Short text, Long text, Number, Email, Phone, Single choice, Multiple choice, Dropdown, Scale, Stars, Date, Time, and Files.

With Option "Other", the client sees "Other" with a text field and writes their own answer. In the responses you see what they wrote and, in the summary, those answers are grouped under "Other".

A question can only depend on an earlier Single choice, Multiple choice, or Dropdown question. Without one before it, the Only show if… button does not appear. If you change the questionnaire later, the answers already received stay as they were given.
