Overview
After creating and publishing a course, you can manually grant access to the clients you choose. This is how you make a course available for free, even if you also sell it online.
Steps
- In Courses, open the course and go to the Students tab. The course must be published.
- Click Enroll students (or Grant access to students if the course has online sales turned on). Once the course has students, the button just says Enroll (or Grant access).
- Search for your clients and click each one. Each click adds that client right away.
- Click Done. The clients now see the course in their Courses area.
Enrolled clients appear in the Students tab. Removing a client permanently deletes all their progress in the course; if you enroll them again, they start from zero. To take away access without losing progress, use Pause access.
When online sales are enabled, eligible clients find the course under Discover and gain access after a one-time purchase or starting a subscription.
In course settings you can require completion of the previous lesson. Click a client's row to pause, resume, or remove their access, or set its expiry. Access that a client bought or pays for by subscription can't be changed here.
