MyFitnessClient v1.2.1 release notes: August fixes and improvements

New features: 6, improvements: 6, bug fixes: 13

New Features

6
  • Each option of a meal keeps its own foods in the client's day: switching tabs shows the other version instead of overwriting the previous one. «Restore meal» and «Restore the day» bring back what was prescribed.
  • The header of a meal with options shows two macro columns side by side: Main as a fixed reference, and the option that is open.
  • A superset's band gains a handle that drags the whole group. Each exercise's handle still pulls it out of the group.
  • The client can change an exercise's type mid-workout, to fit whatever machine is free. Restricted mode still prevents it.
  • You can create an account with Google from an invitation.
  • An address written in a note is now clickable: exercise and session notes, client notes, habit logs, the observations a client can see on an assessment, free-text answers and event descriptions.

Improvements

6
  • A lesson's player is down to play, pause, ten seconds each way and the progress bar. An MP4 you upload no longer shows the browser's own controls, download menu included.
  • Superset group actions now confirm themselves with a notice, instead of changing the list in silence. And the dialog opened from an exercise already in a group now reads «Add to superset», which is what it does.
  • The superset band's menu now appears during the workout too, next to the round.
  • On the client's profile, the diet plan and the client's day are now two separate cards. They were one, and it was easy to edit one thinking you were changing the other.
  • Barcode scanning now uses a square detection area, instead of a wide rectangle that clipped QR codes and products held upright. It also stops going off-centre when you rotate the phone.
  • The filter button and the filter chips now look like the rest of the buttons.

Bug Fixes

13
  • A form you assigned to a client never actually opened for them.
  • A nutrition day's totals were a few grams off from its lines. Rounding now happens before the sum, not after.
  • A meal's option tabs lost their active option after an edit, and the next tap counted as a switch and discarded what you had written.
  • A meal's header jumped when switching tabs.
  • The weight on the client's home screen might not be the most recent one when there was more than one assessment on the same day.
  • An invitation could get lost during email verification.
  • Dropping an exercise below a section put it inside the section instead of after it.
  • Opening a folder in Materials could leave the screen showing the previous one. And going a level down added a second header that pushed the search box down.
  • The website's home page could stay blank when the entry animation failed to start.
  • Muscle groups showed in English — «Lats», «Full Body» — next to translated exercise names.
  • Dates showed with every word capitalised: «Friday, 7 Of August».
  • Several counts always read as plural — «1 exercises».
  • The week navigation buttons had no translated name for screen readers.
