The first news story about MyFitnessClient, in Novum Canal
On 13 October, MyFitnessClient appeared in the news for the first time, in Novum Canal. A proud moment for the four friends from Amarante who built it.
On 13 October 2026, the Portuguese news site Novum Canal published the story "Quatro jovens de Amarante criam aplicação de fitness que já soma 2.000 utilizadores" ("Four young people from Amarante create a fitness app that already has 2,000 users"). It was the first time MyFitnessClient appeared in the news.
The story tells how the four of us, friends from Amarante since the 5th grade, built MyFitnessClient after hearing about the difficulties of friends who work as personal trainers, and what the platform does for people who coach clients: workouts, nutrition, assessments, communication and payments in one place.
Seeing our work in the news, and in a paper from our own region, makes the four of us proud. Thank you to Novum Canal for being the first to tell our story.
