Lista U wins at UMAIA: students get 12 months free
We were at UMAIA with Lista U on 12 and 13 October. Lista U won the student union election, so UMAIA students now get 12 months of the Basic plan free.

On 12 and 13 October 2026, MyFitnessClient was at the University of Maia (UMAIA), in Portugal, with Lista U, a list running for the student union. We brought an offer for the students: 6 months of our platform for personal trainers and nutritionists free of charge, and 6 more if Lista U won the election. Lista U won, and we congratulate them. UMAIA students now get 12 months of the Basic plan at no cost, and anyone who had already activated the 6 months moved to 12 automatically.
Two days on campus
We spent both days on campus with Lista U, talking to students, especially those who are going to be personal trainers or nutritionists, and showing them how the platform works. Anyone interested scanned the QR code for the offer and activated the 6 months on the spot with their university email.
On the first day we also attended the AEUMAIA election debate between the lists running for the student union, in the University of Maia auditorium.

What we want to do next
The campaign was the first step. With the new student union board, we want to:
make the partnership formal with a protocol, so that it continues;
bring talks on exercise prescription and client coaching to UMAIA, with professionals who work with MyFitnessClient;
give training on the platform in classes, where it fits the courses.
How to activate the 12 months
Create your account with your @umaia.pt email. If you already have a professional account without an active paid plan, you can use it.
Confirm the code sent to your UMAIA email.
The Basic plan is active straight away, with unlimited clients, for 12 months. No card is needed, and at the end the account moves to the free plan, with no charges. There is one activation per email and per account.
