Notes de version de MyFitnessClient v1.2.0 : Personal Area, bulk client onboarding and recurring billing
Nouveautés : 18, améliorations : 22, corrections de bugs : 22
Nouveautés
18- Personal Area — train, eat and track yourself with the same experience you give your clients. It has Overview, Workouts, Nutrition, Habits, Progress and History, and you can pull any workout or plan from your own library without going through a test client.
- Automatic recurring billing — a recurring plan can now be a real subscription charged on your Stripe account, instead of manual invoices someone has to chase every month. Convert a manual plan whenever you want, and the client can activate it themselves without waiting for you.
- A price change applies at each client's next renewal, with advance notice by email and in the app and the exact date it takes effect. A client's individual price survives a bulk change, and the client can cancel — and undo the cancellation — up to the renewal.
- Company links — create one link per company, with a name, a tag applied automatically, a restriction to the company's email domain, a usage cap and automatic approval. The company shares the link through its own internal channels and each employee joins on their own: we send no email at all, so there are no lists or sending limits in the way.
- Client import from CSV — upload the file, see what is going to be created before confirming, and get a row-by-row result at the end with the reason for every row left out (already your client, duplicated in the file, ignored column). Your plan's seats are counted before the batch, so you never end up with half the clients created.
- Multi-select in the client list — «select all N» works over the entire filter and not just the page you are looking at, and you can archive or tag them all at once. Archiving frees up plan seats and is reversible, unlike removing, and a client you stopped working with can be marked as former instead of vanishing.
- Per-client messaging policy — you choose, client by client, between no limit, a daily message limit, or read-only (the client can read the conversation but not reply).
- Assessments on the client side — per client, you decide whether they see nothing, only view, or can fill in their own assessments. In-person clients stay as they were; for online coaching, the client fills them in on the same pages you use, with the previous value, the difference and the how-to-measure tips.
- You can request an assessment from the client's profile, and you now see who recorded each assessment. Your notes stay private by default: the client only sees what you write in the «Visible to the client» block.
- Assessments tab inside the client's Progress view, comparing what you measured with what they recorded, custom metrics included.
- Metrics with the name you choose — up to two per exercise on top of the standard fields, as a number or text and with the unit you define.
- Time fields (mm:ss) in assessments, with chart, comparison and PDF: a 10 km personal best no longer has to fit in a text field. Plus goals with a target date, goals on time fields, and a «Running» template that builds the section in one go.
- Per-set pace on runs, which did not exist at all.
- A sound cue at the end of the rest period, which reaches you even with the tab in the background.
- A course's workout block now runs inside the lesson itself: enrolment grants the access, the client returns to the lesson they left, and the session lands in the history linked to that lesson.
- Announcement groups in chat — groups where only the group admins can post.
- You can reopen an already-submitted anamnesis for the client to correct, without losing the answers already there.
- App icon framing editor — adjust the zoom, position and background of your logo for the icon clients install on their phone, instead of a wide logo being squeezed into a square.
Améliorations
22- Changing a program's or diet plan's mode no longer wipes what is in it. All 24 possible changes now convert positions instead of throwing them away, and before you confirm, the dialog tells you exactly what will happen to your workouts or meals — whether they keep their position, all land on the first day, get spread out, or several positions merge. None of them deletes anything, and you can go back.
- An overdue payment no longer blacks out what the client already had. Their workouts, diet plans, courses, materials, calendar, history and their own logging stay open; the lock now only holds back what creates new work for you — submitting a check-in, submitting a form, requesting alternatives, and the course catalogue.
- Supersets are now drawn the same way in the editor, during execution and in the client's view: a band with the group letter and the position (A1, A2) on the exercise row.
- Each superset round gets its own rest period.
- During a workout you can delete blocks from a cluster set, add blocks mid-session, and delete the whole cluster.
- On a run, the metrics you configured on the exercise are no longer unreachable mid-workout behind the distance and duration card: they now get their own strip, collapsed by default, with the already-filled values readable on the row.
- When you edit a workout or a plan assigned to several clients, you now explicitly choose between changing only this client's copy or the shared version, instead of guessing.
- In the program PDF, each superset now names the group, the number of exercises and the sets, instead of repeating «Superset A» on every row.
- Substitutions and alternative meals now come out in the diet plan PDF, and the quantity now spells out what it weighs: «1.03 units (62 g)» instead of «1.03 units».
- The day's targets follow the meal option you are looking at — switching to Option 1 now moves the totals at the top.
- You can create a substitution right after adding the food, without reloading the page, and switching meal option no longer asks for confirmation.
- When you substitute an exercise mid-workout, we now suggest alternatives instead of leaving you to search from scratch.
- The QR invite now shows how long it has left and generates a new one when it expires, opens full screen without the phone dimming mid-scan, sends straight through WhatsApp when the record has a phone number, and you see live when the client opens it.
- The client list now tells apart who has an app account, who is only a record you keep, who has been invited and is waiting, and who is a demo, with a filter for each case. The profile stops offering «Invite» to someone you already invited, and shows when there is a request waiting for approval.
- YouTube videos no longer hand the video address to whoever watches them. And when you add a video we tell you straight away if it cannot be played inside the app — embedding disabled, private or age-restricted — instead of the client finding out inside the player, in English.
- Rebuilt brand customisation, with preview and an unsaved-changes warning.
- When a request fails, each area of the page now shows its own state with a retry option, instead of taking the whole screen down; and there is a dedicated warning for when you lose connectivity.
- The calendar now refreshes when you come back to the tab, so what changed elsewhere shows up without a page reload.
- Emails now respect the list of addresses that already bounced, and a temporary send failure is retried automatically instead of being lost.
- Colour, icon and cover can now be set on any file in Materials, not just on pages.
- In notification settings you can now switch the reminder about clients who have gone weeks without an assessment on or off, and a notification that is active on your account but blocked on the phone you are holding now says so, instead of looking switched off.
- Redesigned trainer dashboard and unified controls, sizes, colours and icons across the website. On accessibility: a skip-to-content shortcut, each page with its own tab title, and form fields named for screen readers.
Corrections de bugs
22- Custom metrics in an assessment could be truncated on save.
- The automatic body-fat calculation could overwrite the values coming from the scale. It is worth checking older assessments where you used both.
- «Save and exit» when creating an assessment could create two.
- On a run, the personal record counted «ran for longer» instead of the best pace, and total distance was not added up, so the session showed in the history as an empty workout.
- The reusable invite link could stop working for no apparent reason.
- Saving the public profile could wipe fields you were not editing, gallery images included.
- Editing a course or a habit reset untouched fields back to their defaults.
- In chat, a message close to the 10,000 character limit errored out, and emoji in a group name were counted twice, rejecting names that actually fit.
- Course videos were being blocked and would not open, and a YouTube link pasted into a link block printed the address and opened the browser instead of playing.
- Numbers and decimals now follow the app language across the platform, and the Portuguese and Spanish translations and accents were completed.
- Dates appeared in a technical format in due-date notifications, and some euro amounts did not follow the language.
- The same superset group showed in different colours on each side: group A was orange for you and blue for the client.
- A client with no trainer attached saw «Could not load data» on a screen that, for them, had nothing to load.
- A temporary failure opening an invite replaced the whole page with «invalid link», and the approval invite email did not spell out all three steps.
- A client without an account who claimed their invite lost access to the courses you had already assigned them.
- On a trainer's public profile, the other-trainers section vanished with no visible error at all.
- Connecting Google Calendar reported «connection error» when the connection had actually worked.
- The installed app icon got stuck on the first logo it loaded and did not follow a brand change.
- Customising the anamnesis for one client also changed it for the others, and the clinical condition toggles were misaligned.
- Inserting a saved section in the workout editor showed an error code instead of a readable message.
- Several counts always read as plural — «1 lessons», «1 days» — and now agree with the number.
- Lists now have a «Sort» button on phones: sorting lived only in the column headers, which do not appear on narrow screens.
