Delete from the app
In the iOS and Android apps, deletion is done from your account settings:
- Open the app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Settings and choose Delete account.
- Enter your account password and type the confirmation word shown on screen.
- Confirm. The account is deactivated immediately and you are signed out on every device.
Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. There is no recovery window.
If you only use the website
The web app does not have a deletion button yet. Email us from the address linked to your account with the subject "Delete account" and we will handle the request. We confirm your identity before deleting anything.
Accounts created with Google
If you created your account with Google and never set a password, the app will ask you to set one before deleting. Use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen, set a password, then return to Settings -> Delete account. Alternatively, ask us to delete it by email.
What is deleted
When you delete your account, we erase or irreversibly anonymise:
- Your profile data: name, photo, date of birth, gender, height, weight, phone number and medical history
- Your email address, replaced with a meaningless value, and your password
- The files you uploaded and their copies in our storage, including photos and attachments
- Active sessions, sign-in tokens and notification subscriptions on every device
- The Google Calendar connection, including revoking access and removing the calendar the app created
- Your usage session records; activity events stop being linked to you
What is kept, and why
Some data we are legally required to keep, and some persists for a short period for technical reasons:
- Invoicing documents, kept for up to 10 years under tax law
- Data already deleted may remain in backups for up to an additional 30 days, until those expire
- A minimal, anonymised account record carrying nothing that identifies you, so financial records and ended relationships stay consistent
